From The Deck Chair’s Aaron Saunders is a dreamer, thankfully for us. He’s always looking for bucket-list cruises, and this morning, he alerted us to what appears to be a life-changing expedition on Silver Explorer.
As far north as you can go in Norway, Svalbard is situated well beyond the Arctic Circle and is a breeding ground for polar bears and an abundance of marine life. Couple this with an astonishing array of inlets, fjords, mountains and icebergs, and arctic Svalbard is one of the most picturesque destinations on the cruising map.
Silversea Cruises recently released this video showcasing the expedition cruise in Svalbard on Silver Explorer, and if you’re anything like me, you’ll want to add this cruise to your bucket list.
